He is an award-winning Broadcast Manager, Television Producer, and Journalist. He is presently the Assistant General Manager Operations with Channels Media Group, owner of Channels Television, the multi-award-winning and Africa’s leading television station in Lagos, Nigeria. His remit includes managing Corporate Communication, Partnerships and Training. He has a robust career in Media and Corporate Communication spanning over 20 years in a variety of managerial roles.
He studied Mass Communication at the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, Nigeria, and had Post Graduate Studies in Linguistics and Communications at University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Kingsley also holds a certificate in media production from the College of Mass Communication and Media Arts, Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC). He has taken high-level training in Media Management and Journalism Education from the BBC World Service. He is a recipient of the 1996 Best Television Reporter Award instituted by the Nigeria Media Merit Award Trust.
Kingsley is passionate about media development and project management. His four-year leadership as the project manager cum trainer for the BBC World Service Trust, (DFID sponsored Nigeria Budget Monitoring Project) has been one of the high points of his service and contribution to media development and career in Nigeria.
